Party time! 4th of July!

Stuck at what you should do for 4th of July this year? And it's like last minute? Well - your not alone. See what I threw together the day of, for 4th of July.

I went to the store the night before 4th of July and got like 3 things I didn't have already to make these.

I had a Forth o' July playlist on Spotify playing for the day and it added a lot to the party.

I hung little flags everywhere for decoration, along with these balloons I got from Esty last year. You can buy them here:

For my meal I made this delicious taco mac from maebells.com

You can get the recipe here: https://www.maebells.com/easy-taco-mac/

It was super easy to make, and I had almost all the ingredients in my pantry already.

I loved it so much and will definitely make it again!

I served it with plain chips that really added to the taco flavor.

I made a fruit salad with blueberries and strawberries and had it sitting in the middle of the table. More red and blue!

For my dessert, I layered red, white and blue jello. I added condensed milk to unflavored gelatin to get the white color.

I was very shocked when the layers didn't leak into each other!

I ended up serving everything on 4th of July paper plates. Yep - very festive.

I think it was a very huge last-minute-success!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo,
